Hi Mylotters!!! I'm here because I'm tired of cleaning my SPAM inbox because of the constant emails that I receive from MYlot saying this: "Someone" just started a new discussion.
Can someone help me with this? I have to stop this. There is an option somewhere where I can make them stop sending me this emails? Please, someone!
I get almost 300 a day. It's tiring... :/

No, just one at a time.
Why not make a seperate folder in your email and send them all there?

Why would you want to stop the notifications? I have mine on and I get emails everyday from MyLot. I love it that way because I can respond more quickly to my friends discussions.

It seems a bit offensive that you consider us all spam, you signed up for this site, and the notifications from all of us allow you to participate with all of us. If you do not want to participate, maybe you should go to a site that you enjoy. Everyone has told you to either delete the friends or turn off your notifications. I think spam e mail is unsolicited promotional material. Mylot does not promote itself when people make discussions and the fact that you signed up for the site means you are not being spammed. Getting notifications allows you to participate. Oh, and look, you are going to get lots of notifications that we have all responded to you.

This is not Spam, but emails from your "Friends" like ME! You would have no doubt seen my recent discussion in there. I do not think that it was spam!
Just the same way that I saw this email in my inbox and saw it as an opportunity to respond to a friend on MyLot and not Spam. If you want to stop receiving these emails, you either have to give up your account here, get rid of all your friends, or turn off the notify button in your friends list. I recommend doing the last one!
If there is one MyLotter or more in particular that seems to be filling up your inbox more than most, then try turning only them off first and see if that works for you. I have had to do this in the past myself to people who started meaningless discussion after meaningless discussion and never replied to any of them.

That easy... just go to your friend lists and turn off their notification one by one. Sometime I doing it if Mylot friend only create discussion which not catch my attention.
