Hello mylotter, I am a big fan of Two and a Half Man. I really think it is a funny show, mainly because Charlie Sheen was the perfect guy for this role. For sure, the story is too macho, but I don't know a person who can't laugh watching it. I became very worried with the news that Charlie fought with Chuck Lorre again and he was fired from the show. Then I saw that Ashton Kutcher signed a contract to substitute Charlie. He is a great actor, but I don't know. What do you think? Did Ashton do a good choice? And the producers from Two and a Half Man? Happy mylotting.

I have seen the first two episodes with Ashton Kutcher, having the name Walden Schmidt. I think his character is a mixture between Charlie Harper's and Jake's personality, and I loved how he acted, but I was very accustomed to Charlie Sheen and personally I would have preferred to see him continue this comedy, which I consider one of the best comedy series I have ever seen, together with Married with Children and Friends. But if this is the situation, I will continue to watch the show, because this Charlie won't return and I like comedies a lot.

We'll see if Charlie can be forgotten or not. I think everybody thought first of Charlie, when they have heard Two and a Half Man. So it will be difficult to be forgotten, maybe the people who are starting to watch the film from now on will not know about him, but the people who are watching the show for a long time now, I think will always remember the character Charlie Harper, which was majestically interpreted by Charlie Sheen.

Charlie is irreplaceable in this show. I think even this show get a lot of success, and I hope it, we will always think in Charlie. That role was perfect to him, as I said above, this shows looks like a reality show to him. It is good, I am becoming worried, because everyone was saying that the show is very bad with Kutcher. I think he is a good actor, but as I didn't see an episode yet, I am a little worried. I don't think Charlie will come back too. He gave a lot of problems to producers and this fight was the limit. I like comedies too, movies and sitcoms. I like Married with Children and also Scrubs. These are the better for me. Happy mylotting.

Oh, sorry. I think I didn't be clear. I don't think people will forget Charlie Harper, but they will not miss him anymore. For the next 2 years, if the show continues for this time (I hope so), the actors can make the public to think on them when they think in Two and a Half Man. But even Charlie had continued in the show, I don't think it have much more lifetime. Jack is too big to be "a half man" and I don't know if they can renew the show too much to maintain the success. Happy mylotting.

BAD MOBE and Waste of money in my opinion. Ashton Kutcher is overrated and had he not married Demi Moore he would have been forgotten a long time ago. I have a general dislike for him so my opinion is biased. He is the SAME character in everything he plays in. He is just like NEO or Johnny Neumonic. Whatever... Black suit, black tie acting. The show will fail, they should have written an end to it. The little kid is grown up and the CHARLIE made the show. Sad day when Ashton Kutcher is considered a Credible actor.

I am not a Charlie Sheen fan. I think he was carried by good writing and the great performances of the others on the show and was extremely over paid. I'm not particularly an Ashton Kutcher fan either, although I can tolerate him more than Sheen, but so far I think the writing and the others on the show are making it work fairly well and that could carry him just like it carried Sheen.

My mother is not a fan from Charlie Sheen too, but I think he is a good actor. Of course, he needed good producers and a good team to have the success that he had, but the role was perfect to him. He acts too naturally. I hope Kutcher have success on this show, because it is so good and will be a great lose to us if they need to stop it. Thanks for the response and happy mylotting.

Well, I got very sad about the fight of Sheen with Chuck Lorre, but Lorre is the creator of many sucessfull series, so, in this fight, it was obvious that Sheen was going to lose. I only watched the first episode with Kutcher and I have to say that I liked and I see future for the series. Like I was talking with my sister the other day, the hardest character to represent on the series is Alan.

I honestly think the show Two and a Half Men will soon fail. Don't get me wrong, Ashton Kutcher isn't a bad actor, but I think Charlie Sheen MADE the show. Without him the show is no longer good. At least that's how I feel.

I have the same feeling. Charlie was the heart of this program. As I liked to joke with my friends, it was a kind of reality show to him, lol! I like Ashton Kutcher too. He did a good job in Butterfly Effect and other comedy movies, but he didn't look as the right guy to substitute Charlie. But I read some critics about the new season and they are telling that Ashton is doing a good job. I didn't see it yet. What do you think? Thanks for response. Happy mylotting.

I agree with the poster below. I'm a little disappointed. Again Charlie Sheen made the show. It was indeed like a reality show to him, lol. I guess nothing can last forever. Maybe we will get lucky and they will bring Charlie Sheen back? I heard Charlie Sheen is going to have his own show soon. I'm not sure if that's a rumor though

I was sad also. Me and my family watch the show all the time, and when we heard that Charlie was fired we were sad. But to be honest, it didn't really come as a surprise. Now I know that Ashton is not going to replace Charlie, but it is going to represent a whole new character, I've got new hope. I hope it will continue to be an amazing show.

It is nice. My family don't like this show so much, my mother mainly. But as you said, Charlie was looking for it for a long time. If he was not perfect for that role, he would be fired a long time ago, because all of troubles he had in the last years. I became a little worried when I heard the new for the first time, because I thought Kutcher would be Charlie and he has a totally different way from Charlie Sheen. But I hope he can do a great job, because, as you said, the show is amazing and we would lose a lot with it have an end now. Happy mylotting.

Charlie Sheen was the spark of the show, used to love watching his double-meaning comments. I haven't seen the show yet since he left, but I sure will miss him. And I don't know about Ashton Kutcher... I feel he is too young for that particular role.

Everybody will miss Charlie. He was the heart of the show. But I knew that sooner or later, he would have a fight like this one, because he is a trouble-man. I don't think Kutcher is too young, I just believe that role is not for a guy like him. He did a lot of romantic comedy movies and a great role at Butterfly effect, but I've never imagined him in a role like this. Just the time will show us, but I hope he can do a great job.

I like this serie very much too. All of them are great actors and behind of them there is a great team also. I don't think Ashton can replace Charlie. His character will be different, but I don't know if he can be as good as Charlie. We have to wait. It was a pity the end of this stage of the serie.

I believe in it too. Chuck Lorre and his team did a lot of great sitcoms, with tremendous success. When he decided to work with Charlie Sheen in this job, I think he did the best choice for that role. But he couldn't know Sheen would do a thing like that. If they had tried to replace Charlie with Kutcher, they would have failed without doubt. But the idea of a different person in the show, can give another direction to this, what can be good or not. As you said, we need to wait. Happy mylotting.

In my opinion, they should have ended the show when they removed Charlie Sheen. Ashton Kutcher is great, but I feel like the character is not for him. It is made for Charlie Sheen only. I think they will only have one season with Ashton in it, but after that, I think it won't be continued.

I didn't want they ended the show because of Charlie. I know they need to do a lot of changes, but I think it can work. Maybe with some different ideas and jokes, but I believe Chuck Lorre can do it. And Ashton is not coming to substitute Charlie. He has another role. Charlie Harper is the perfect role for Charlie Sheen, but don't you think they can change the story to include Ashton with a good idea? I do. I didn't see it yet, but I can't wait. Happy mylotting.

Yeah, Charlie is perfect for that role. Have you watched the episodes with Kutcher? Don't you like it? I didn't see it yet. I have hoped it could be good. Thanks for response.
