I just rescued a beautiful black cat with a white tummy and white paws. She is so sweet and loving but I sneeze everytime she comes near. I'm trying to deal because I love her but man this sucks. I've been allergic my wole life. I thought I'd grow out of it. I guess not. Anyone else have the same problem? How annoying is it for you?

Cats can give you asthma. You don't wanna end up asthmatic don't you? so you better just get rid of that cat before you regret all your life. My sister got asthmatic because of cats and I know many people who had asthma because of cat so in our household cats are banned and not at all welcomed.

Sorry to hear that you were experiencing such allergy.
Most asthmatic people are allergy to fur, fury pets or fury toys.
I have a new kitten and she's so cute also.
She loves to be cuddled and always want to sleep beside us.
I hope you will keep the kitten, just avoid getting it near to you.

I have a mild allergy to cats, I found that if I use children's shampoo like Johnsons baby shampoo and gave my cats(2) a weekly bath it helped. (that's also why I used the baby shampoo because it's mild on the fur and cat skin and doesn't hurt thier eyes or dry thier skin)
Also Cat's have dander (dry skin flakes) by regularly brushing for my cat's it seemed to help, especially with a weekly bath. Also washing thier sleeping area and vacuuming more.
They do get used to being bathed and I always gave them a special reward after and praised them lots!
Good Luck
