How is the situation in your country?

Once the economical problems started already a few years ago, almost all countries were efected. But the efect was never the same in different places. Countries like Greece, who seems not to overcome their difficulties, or Italian and Spain, where the situation is still quite difficult, or the USA, where it also seems to be hard, I am wondering how is the situation in other countries?
What about possibilities to work? Do you have high rates of unemployment? What kind of professionals are they looking for?

Here in the USA is bad because of the economy. Here its hard to find a job and some people had to higher their products because of the situation we are. In fact even my dad had to cancel the movie channels from our satellite provider because of the economy and then had to move to cable.

In Spain, they mention USA very often in the news. So it seems that the situation is really so bad as they explained!?

I'm really sorry for what's happening now in Greece and to the Greek people, hope the Euro zone can somehow contain the problem so it does not spread to countries like Portugal, Spain and Italy.
The irony of the last down turn (2008)was that it hit richer nations more than poorer nation so they somehow refer to it as " the great equalizer" Living in the Philippines, we are already used to all the hardships like unemployment and poverty since the 80's, so we already somehow adopted. Since we are not an investing nation, we had very little exposure to the banks that are in trouble or had gone down unlike the more developed countries. Despite all this, we continue to watch developments in Europe as well as in the U.S.

The problem is everywhere and the impact is so hard that redemption is the only answer. When such countries opt for austerity measures to redeem themselves, great consideration should be made on the people who will feel the impact of such decisions.

When the ecnonmical problem just started,the sitution was diffcult.Many company closed,so many people lost their job.After sever month the situtation changed gradudally.
