There was one time in the office, my friend was telling me a funny story, so we were laughing. our cubicle is not really far from our boss. So she heard us, she sent an IM message to my friend to lower our voices. So my friend sent me an IM, saying "Boss said to keep quite". So we toned down, then I realized how come if others are doing it she isn't telling them to keep quite. So I sent that message to my friend.
To my shock, my boss responded! haha! I sent the message to her instead! Busted!
Good thing, I have a good standing in the office so my boss didn't take that against me. =)
But I know someone who sent a flirty message to a girl, he is giggling while waiting for a reply. The reply came, and it went "you As@!#$%!#@, we are done!" That came from his girlfriend. Busted! haha!
Another one, my friend has been a POC for a certain department for over a year, but there was always a delay on her promotion. Then one time she and her boss talked, my friend told him that she received an offer from a different company, but the boss informed her that he is already finalizing her promotion. So the next day, they were discussing the details of her contract but she had issues with her salary. So she told her boss she would think about it first. Then she sent a text message to her husband saying that her decision is final, she is resigning. Then she realized, she sent it to her boss! Good thing she has access to his boss's cellphone, so she hurried and erased the message before the boss can read it.
So have you ever experienced sending a message to someone, then suddenly you realized you sent it to the wrong person? What happened then? What was the outcome? Please share your stories. Cheers!

Back then I used to hasten texting when I'm in public because my cellphone might get snatched. There were times then that I sent "Love you, mom" to my girlfriend and vice versa. Well, "I love you" could have meant the same to my mom but my girlfriend always made fun of me regarding the messages she received.
