Most of videos are private

I have more than 200 videos uploaded on Youtube, but most interesting is the fact that most of them are private not public.
Some may ask why is it so and i have fair answer. Most of videos are my own collection of my children playing at home, me and my wife birthdays and some other cool videos, but i want them just to be in Youtube as on server, not to be viewed publicly. So, thats why i am uploading them, but marking as private. There is just some things that I dont want people around the world to be seen. I know that there is possibility to block comments and do few other changes for video, but still my personal life is my personal.
Actually i cant imagine better place for my home videos as Youtube. Even private youtube video can be seen by others when owner of video (me in this case) type email addresses of those people who will be able to view video with the link. Youtube is like server where to store my video files and it is not taking off space from my Google account. There is some restrictions of course, but i learned to live with them.

I guess it's a good way to share them with the family, especially with those who life far away from you. And this way, you and your close relative can watch them too whenever you want to, without searching for tapes or CDs/DVDs or on hard drives or whatever, since they're all on YouTube and YouTube's not going anywhere anytime soon:)

Yes, you got my message! Thats why i prefer my videos to upload to youtube and mark them as private. My family members can view them with link i am sending them to their e-mail.

Everyone doesnt want the youtube videos to be public cuz it's at home or something like that.
My youtube channel is only public, but it is your own choice.

well in have public and private videos, but recently i started to upload my personal videos and marking them all private, so i use youtube mostly as a storage for my own videos.
