I don't have enough time to post discussions anymore

I felt so sad right now. I really enjoyed starting new discussion and responding discussions made by other mylotters. But now, it seems to hard for me to keep on visiting mylot. I applied as a teacher for Koreans and luckily I was hired. I started my training already and we keep on studying grammar in order for us to teach Koreans well. It is so hard to think on what to discuss here because my mind is also focus on learning grammar and vocabulary. Well, I need to manage my time to still be able to visit here. I just hope that it will not be too hard and I can still post didcussions here.

Offline life must be a priority, although we are so lucky that we are not limited here. So I say concentrate on your new wonderful job and when you have some free time you will always be welcomed here. It probably would be best that since your online time is limited to simply respond perhaps to your listed friends so this way they are aware that you are okay. If your online time increases then I say continue responding to other interesting discussions, and at some point you might find that you can balance the two and begin starting discussions again. Best of luck with the teaching job!

I don't have a lot of time to post either ! I have so much work to do so I could hardly think of something to post or respond to someone's discussion ! I am from 2 weeks in mylot and really enjoy surfing in here !

You must be smart in managing your time, and you need discipline. I am sure, you will definitely have time to log in MyLot, though just a minute. Most importantly, you must be disciplined with time, always enthusiastic, and do it gladly. Keep the spirit, I hope you succeed.

Hello Bessy, Congratulations for your new job. Yes when we get busy in offline work it becomes difficult for us to be active here on MYLOT and it becomes more difficult for us to start discussion as it needs time to comment back to the responses. But i feel you can start discussions on week ends or in night or else you can respond to other's discussion then to start your own discussions as may be you find it more easy and less time consuming.

Yea I have had the same problem. I wasn't able to discuss and post here because of school and work. I had to give mylot a break for a while because I had too much homework that sometimes my dad will let me have a day off to finish it all, especially in my condition. I have had meningitis that its hard for me to understand so I am slow. Now I am going to graduate (or I might if I continue to go well) and all I have to take one class at a time that I was able to catch up with mylot.

Hi there Bessyjanmayi! I'm so sorry to hear that. I think it's great that you have a new job, though. Aside from earning, you are also helping other people with their dreams. I am also kind of busy with school that's why I only get to post here in Mylot twice or thrice a week when I used to spend about eight hours each day when I was still the one who manages our internet cafe. I'm still thankful that I was able to go back to school though. I guess what we have to do now is to make up for the lost time whenever we get to go online.

Congratulations on getting this job. Perhaps your students will give you some great ideas for discussion topics and you can keep track of them and then post them when you do have time. As long you visit Mylot occasionally you keep the money you have collected. Good luck to you!

Congrats on your new job. You can still participate here when you have time. You don't need to stay here for a longer time, just try to drop by and participate everyday so you will not miss a lot from your friends and other members. Keep mylotting and have a good day

Well, you can make vocabulary and learning grammar to start as a discussion. It will be a quality one for sure. Share with us here some new learning and strategies when you teach. Wishing you all the best with your new job!

Good luck with your new career. Time management is something you need to be aware of for sure. Perhaps you could start discussions for things that are on your mind regarding your new occupation that you want another opinion on or you could just set aside a limited amount of time for it (use stop watch) lol. If you have to take time off you have to though because you have made an important decision in your life.

I understand completely. sometimes we do not have much time to write and to be here. when you work and exercise that's great keep it and when you post something nice and beautiful. I am glad that you still have this opportunity to write and I here. you always manage to come. nice day, and so on.

You just have to manage your time well. All will go smoothly, if done regularly. You have to do, you should do.
