Young-adult - romance book/novel recommendations?

Well i love reading young adult books or ya books for short so for those who don't know young adult books are for teenagers but old guys can also enjoy it so any recommendation guys? I dont really know but i hate twilight and harry potter series, i know many peopl love them but i well i think im just unique in taste ~_~ well i alrady read this following series Hunger Games trilogy Mortal Instrument Series Percy Jackson and the Olympians series The Heroes of Olympus series (kind of new but same author of percu jackson, rick riordan) can anyone recommend me some books with the young adult + romance genre?

The Only Alien on the Planet by Kristin D. Randle Phantom by Susan Kay Lightning by Dean R. Koontz A Certain Slant of Light by Laura Whitcomb The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold The Little Book That Loves You by Elle Shearson Each of these are books of mine that my male roommate read, featuring romance (although not the oozing out of every corner Harlequin type of mush). They also each feature a wonderful, overall message. The last book on the list is very.. unique.. and WELL worth purchasing, although it features a different take on love. Not a novel, just a short book written by a very young girl.

They're each very good books, but a couple of them may be difficult to find in libraries. Ive read 'Phantom' well over 600 times (I quit counting at 564 back in 99) and 'Only Alien...' probably close to 100. I'm insisting to still have copies of them for my daughter in a year or two.

Some that you might like is Chronicles of Nick series by Sherrilynn Kenyon its part of the dark hunter series but for young adults. You might also like Chose, Infidle, and I forget the others in the series or the name of the series, but it is by Ted Dekker.
