I hope you didn't give your dog that contaminated water, daydreamer2004007325! You can make your dog ill by doing that. Why would anybody want to have an ill dog? If you don't have a healthy source of water, at least boil the contaminated water for a few minutes. The bacteria will die and when the water cools, it will be good enough to be drunk by your dog. Why do you say it is hard to get clean drinking water?

Don't you have any kind of water filtration system in your country? That would be more effective than boiling.

I was doing a little research on this, because I was actually interested in this myself. I found a website that I think may help. www . eons . com/groups/topic/1551365-contaminated-water Just take out the spaces, I can't post links yet, because my User Rating is not high enough. I really hope this helps. If I find any other links, I will continue to post them. Thanks Again!

You shouldn't give your dog the contaminated water. Dog is just like people, if we drink contaminated water we will get diarrhea. I hope that you will find a clean water to drink. Boil them so the bacteria will die.
