I went to a Catholic school back in high school and they were very strict, we have dress codes and everything. We weren't even allowed to have our nail polished or eyebrows plucked. So when I graduated I decided to have my hair dyed. It was burgundy. You can only notice the redness of the color when there is sunlight but indoors, it looks like every other black hair :)

haha i really know about dress codes, that's normal for high school students so i won't argue with the school with just those codes, hmm i already dyed my hair brown twice but can only be noticed in sun light too so my teachers do not notice my hair inside the classrooms.

I also went to get a belly ring, I though it would hurt but it didn't. But that was back when I had a very flat tummy. Now I have excess fats there already so it had to come off. But that was really cool, well at least I think it was cool. :))

Go to college right away or you may get caught up in other things and not get your education.

Yah thanks man. I also thought of that, what if something happened in that span of time and im not able to go to college, the waiting time will only prolong.

I graduated high school when I was 16 and worked at various part time jobs until I was 19. Then I went to job corps, a government ran residential job skills training facility. After that I worked for a few more years, started my family, and struggled with college. Now I feel worse off than I did when I was just 18 years old and am far more trapped by other obligations. I recommend getting school out of the way... Once you take time away from studying, it becomes difficult to get in gear to study further.

Hi there! It's never an option for me to rest even for sometime when I was still studying. I got a time to rest and not hunt for jobs though when I graduated from college. You are just a senior high school so I'd like to encourage you to study, keep on studying while you're young. There's no reason for you to stop or rest. I'll encourage you to do so if you're already working and really got to have some time to rest and refresh. You can do it!

I'm in the same position as you too! I'm also in my senior year in high school and just one more year before my major exams kick in. I'm actually quite dreading t already because I don't want to leave my close high school plans. Well, for my plan, I'm planning to start finding myself a nice casual job after graduation for some cash and experience. I would also need to learn how to drive too I do want to go straight to uni as well because the break between graduation and uni is quite long already and I want to get straight to studying when my brain is still in study mode. Because taking a gap year might make your brain a little lazy But if you really want that break, take a gap year and find a job or use the gap year to travel. Go on a holiday with your high school friends, my friends are planning that too. They want to go to America and stalk their favorite celebrities.

Well, I am a college student and I don't want to stop just to refresh my mind only. It's better to enroll immediately in what school you are preferred so that you can find a job easily. Can I ask you, Where you from? If you don't want to answer my question, its okay!

graduation in the high school was the most saddest part for me during that time because that was the time that i have been separated to my classmates that i have been for 4 years, actually after graduation we still seeing each other until the college time nearly approaching.
