What are the things you do wwhen you can't sleep?

Some nights i just can't sleep (i dont have insomnia) so i sometimes read books or read mangas on my ipod touch until i become drowsy. Sometimes i also listen to music until i sleep with the earphones on my ear, or watch movies on tv until i fell asleep on the sofa, browse the internet, anything that catch my attention and interests me.
How about you? what are the things you do when you can't sleep?

when i can't sleep immediately at my sleeping time what i do is read my new novels or my E-books. sometimes i play my video games until my eyes get hurt.;-). or i drink warm milk.

yes, i downloaded them from internet by using my samsung tab. i read my ebooks in my samsung tab. i like the novels of JOHN GRISHAM but i only found 4 of his novels in ebook formats and were free. just browse them in the internet. john grisham novels ebook formats.;-)

i usually count backwards till i get tired and fall asleep, play with my cellphone or listen to meditation music.

Like other people i listen to music while trying to sleep in a comfortable room with a nice lighting condition. i make sure the surrounding s not noisy since it affect my emotion. in case t would not be effective i could combine reading novel till my eyes get tired. finally, i would try those i heard from friends by drinking warm milk or do little exercise so when i get tired i could already felt sleepy.

I drink some water or milk and go to bed again. Except when I don't have anything to do the next morning, if that's the case I take my laptop and search on the internet. But that's only when I really can't sleep.

I usually have a technique for falling asleep in bed (though I can drop off easily as a passenger in a moving car) which involves lying on my side with an easy to read book...nothing exciting which would keep me awake longer. Comic books are perfect for this as they don't involve much brain function. hehe. A couple pages is usually all it takes and I'm done for the night.

The thing that probably puts me to sleep the fastest is a travelog. Day or night, interested in the location or not, I don't know what it is about them, but travelogs put me to sleep.

I do mylotting.
Mylot is the best place to stay when I am not sleepy.
I can post a lot and participate with my friends topic.
I am addicted to this site, so, I don't do anything aside from mylot when I am not sleepy and finding hard time to sleep.

Sometimes I find it pretty difficult to fall asleep maybe because of too much coffee When this happens, I usually get up to drink a nice warm cup of milk so that I can feel a little warmed up. Then, I would watch some TV for a while to tire myself out a little before I hit the sack again. When I know I really do need my sleep, I try to relax and think of something. Sometimes I imagine a little bed time story for myself so that I can fall asleep for easily. So pretty much it's like watching a good movie except it's in my brain and eventually I'll fall asleep.

when i can't sleep then i just go into my past and find out the brilliant moments that i live,
i go to these moments and live them once again.
or i think about my future, that i want to live.
so when i think this then i fell asleep into minutes..!!
i don't need any book, internet or music or something else to sleep....!!!!!!!!
i think you all also should adopt it, you will really feel relaxed and fresh.
so what you say?

i love to get online and play games, or watch a movie (something funny though), or talk on the phone/online. but my fav is listening to music, but that is only when i cannot slp and i want to go to slp.

When I cannot sleep, I eat something like biscuit and drink milk, in this way it helps me to get sleepy. If that does not work I will try to watch a movie till it makes my eyes painful and sleepy.
I also stop thinking too much so that my mind can relax at least. You can also try to drink some hot tea, it can also help to give you a good night sleep.

if i can't sleep then i just roam around or read books, watch tv if not take my laptop and start surfing. mostly i sleep a lot after all the hectic work from office.

I also experience insomnia sometimes.. Hmm.. Everytime I had this, I usually read my notes until it get tired of reading. Or sometimes I listen to mellow music. I even watch movies or television show. Or I just pray, talking to God.. or even reflecting. Thinking of things that I have done. Weighing things, or even imagining a lot of things. This is maybe the reason why I have weird dreams sometimes.. haha.. However, its my own way of getting a sleep.

I have the same issue. I haven't been sleeping very well at night my body just won't shut down regardless if I have to be up early in the morning. I usually sit on the computer and log onto Facebook and play around for awhile. Or I'll go on the PS3 and watch a movie on Netflix, usually that does the trick unless there is more than one movie I'd like to watch in which case I'm more than likely to push my limits to try and make myself stay up.

I don't even need to push my limits at night, i just can't sleep sometimes, so i often ended up sleeping in class, though i still have good grades i guess im really cool :)) but really when i want my body to sleep it just won't rest and when i want to do things and stay awake, i just get drowsy overtime ~_~

oh god, my younger siblings will be stirred up because if i can't sleep, i play guitar.
one night, when i was shouted by my brother with the same reason lol, i get thet trumphet and start blowing it. LOL
