Recently,I heard that one of my relative is planning to change to son's name because a lot of people told her that his son's name is lack of meaning and her son's performance is very bad in recent in recent years(His grade is to low to be satisfied by anyone. What's more,he has a tendency to steal money from home). Thus, she has made her mind to give him a meaningful name in the hope of turning the table in his growth.
Do you think it works?

Hmm.. I don't know. Maybe it would. However, I don't believe that name could really change the personality of a person. It is up to you who will manage your life right? Be it your doing or bad things, your name doesn't have the obligation how will be you in this life. Though, it could affect only in some instances.

I know that if you go by the bible, and God, He always named people or changed their names to mean what they would become. Like Abram to Abraham which means father of many nations. He says whatever you speak comes to pass, so each time someone spoke his name, they were helping him to become father of many nations.
My daughter has a friend whose son's name is Storm. That name always bothered me because I believe what's in the name. He has been sick most of his 16 years. He is kind of feminine and not a drinker or troublemaker or anything, but he is a gossip and keeps his mom into arguments with her friends. He has split up my daughter and her a couple of times for exagerating things that were said. I was a witness once, and she would not ask him in front of me what really was said.
She finally wanted him to meet his dad, and after knowing him for a few months, and his dad was doing everything in his power to make it all up to him. He was not aware he even had a son by her. (long story). Anyway, he became jealous of his dad's other two kids and totally will have nothing to do with his dad now. Crazy. I do know all the story.
Anyway, it seems like there is always a 'storm' a comin' in their lives!

one's fate has been determined and set by the God. Changing the name will not change anything, but a name on someone basically a prayer. A prayer which be given parent's to their child with hope their child can have good fortune as long as his living
Fate can be changed by prayer, so, in my opinion - change a name could change a fate, as long as, followed with changes in the spirit of life, changes lifestyle and always think positive

so, if my Windows Operating System Log-In Name is Veagle and i will change it to Mantis
then the performance of my Windows will turn to be more smart and speedier than ever like an artificial alien intelligence?
Will my Operating System changing from ACCURACY turns to SPEED?

I think not. It really depends on people on how they make their fates. Ii is up to us to decide and choose what paths we would take on our lives. Naming does not necessarily decide what fate we will take if are named by other thing. If that would be the case then everyone will have the same name because everyone only needs one thing in their lives and that is "SUCCESS". Have a great day my friend.

According to astrology, a person's character is depicted by the birth, place and time. Changing the name will not change the person's character. But, changing the name may have influence on his life, luck, business, friendships, and so on. That would well be in the numerology based on the name !!

I don't think it will changed anything.
unless the kids name is like or sounds an "ev*l" name...I guess they really need to change it.

I really don't think that changing his name is going to cause for behavioral changes. I am not sure that doing so will instantly cause for him to change his ways. I am not sure how old he is but unless he accepts his wrong doings and wants to correct his ways, I am not sure that a change of name will do it for him.
The fact that he is stealing from home has been a choice and not sure how changing his name will cause him to stop doing it. Unless I am missing something I am not sure it will work.

in 21st century its really funny to hear this.changing name will not help in changing person's character.here the problem is with her son's mentality.instead of spending time in choosing name for her son,she must help her son to concentrate on his studies which will automatically produce good result.

Yes, definitely!:) I think Chinese tend to believe it more than other pe3ople. I believe that a person's destiny is closely tied up with his name.
