Hi, i am using contact lenses since 4-5 yrs now. It is a very easy procedure of putting lenses in your eyes. You may find it difficult initially. But i am sure that you will be able to use them easily after 20 days of everyday use. You would not even require the mirror later on. (Believe me, i am not kidding :) ) I always prefer to use contact lenses to spectacles and after you put them in your eyes, you may even forget that they are actually there. I sometimes (rarely) forget to remove them while taking afternoon nap. :D ( Never do that, as it may harm your eyes, even though i have not suffered till now ). There are a few funny incidences about my contact lenses. I had wore them during holi - Indian festival of colours and some of the colour went in my eye and my right eye lens turned pink, lol... I had to remove it immediately and wash it with the liquid solution. It took 3-4 days to get the colour removed. But i was able to use them without any trouble later on.
I would strongly advise you to wash them before and after use of the lenses to avoid any eye infection and also not to use for more than 8 hours at a stretch as it may cause dry eye syndrome.
So enjoy the freedom with your new pair of contact lenses. Be happy.

When you purchase a pair of contact lense, the optometrist office will teach you how to use them, there is nothing to worry about, the assistance will make sure you wear them and take down several time before she will sell you contact lenses to make sure you know the proper way to wear them and take them off without hurting your eye, blinding yourself.
