Lately everytime time i search google the internet explorer browser pops up with a site called 'mega search' or yahoo pops up! i have 'no pop ups' clicked in my Google chrome browser has any one any clue what the hell this is???? i have norton anti virus if you reckon it could be something on that please help me lotters!!! :) :)

Actually, I am so rarely using Internet Explorer, so I might only give some presumption..
Maybe it is something related with Internet Explorer's Add Ons?
Try to open yours, Tools Manage Add Ons
And then try search for the suspicious one. The name of that Add-Ons may be "Mega Search" or may be something else.
Then after pick one, choose disable 
Or maybe it is something related with spyware?
Try to install and run "Spybot - Search & Destroy". You can download it for free from the internet :)

Well, it is because most spyware isn't harming computer, so most anti virus isn't killing it.. But it can be really annoying, right? 
"Spybot - Search & Destroy" would be a great specialized tools to remove one. Well, there's many other software out there that also works that way, it's just I haven't try them all yet :p.
And actually, I agree with your decision: to use Chrome instead of Internet Explorer..

yerp it sure is i jus cant seem to get rid ! i have a 'cash gofor program' in my control panel any idea what that is i dont remember downloading anything like it! and cant find it on the actual system i wreckon its this .. ima try that tool and hopefully it will work brand new laptop have it 5 mins! my old one i had years and nothing like this but suppose it could be jus a bad day for it !! lol thank you for you help :):)
