how to learn photoshop

hiii. just few days back i was also thinking that photoshop is something horrible and it can't be used easily but now after using it from a long time i have found it as the best photo editing software... and basically it's name is correct Photoshop as it is a complete shop for photo ..You just tell what you want to do and it'll do same for you.. If you want to learn photoshop then open an image and starting from file menu try all the options ..also try all the tools and just look on net or some books for basics of tools..rest is your own creativity and willingness to learn it....

For me, i just experimented with picasa and picnik. its all in how you see it and you would be surprised on how many people that would like your work. Be confident in your self. the photoshops i use are free. i love picasa and i use picnik for borders and such. good luck :)

Really, I think that the best way for me to say how I learned what I know about photoshop is that I taught it to myself. I got a book about photoshop for Christmas several years ago and read that and used many of the tips that were in the book "Photoshop for Beginners" and that gave me a far better understanding of the program. Then, as I started to want to do more with Photoshop, I would do searches of the internet for a tutorial on the specific technique that I wanted to try. It is amazing how much good, free information that there is.

I was able to learn more about photoshop through this site...http://www.tutorialized.com/tutorials/Photoshop/1 ...and for a fast quick search just simply go to youtube and type anything about photoshop...and there are a lot of free tutorials there :)

It is not so difficult to find free Photoshop tutorials on the net. Actually is Photoshop quite hard to handle. But if you find some good tutorials you can learn it good. I have learn it only from free tutorial videos, some of them are really good.

Try deviantart, there's lots of tutorials there. But honestly, learning yourself and experimenting is the best way. Just mix and match filters and see what they all do- you should find some useful ones!
