It would really depend on the removal method you will be having done.
Personally, I removed warts that I had myself. I had it removed by a doctor when I was younger, but it had come back.
So, I simply applied a thick coat of clear fingernail polish once per day, everyday, for about a couple of weeks until the wart was completely gone. It has never come back.
What this does is it suffocates the wart, and kills it. In my opinion, it is the best and most cost effective method. Being able to do it yourself instead of having to pay for removal is cheaper, and easier.

This is a good information that I got from you. There is a Philippine product for wart removal. It is painless and the healing takes no time at all. So I bought the product and i apply it myself to whatever warts or mole that i do not wish to have in my skin. I keep the product in the fridge so it will never get expired through the years. And so it was under effective use until its last tinge of cream. Yes, it comes in cream form.
Your way of treatment is much better though. I will surely buy fingernail polish for this purpose. I never use fingernail polish as such. I am plainly simple in my ways. It has never crossed my mind that fingernail polish can be medicinal, too. And i agree with you that really, it is the cutting of the supply of natural air that must have caused the removal of the warts.
Many thanks to you and many thanks to totallyundecided for having posted this discussion.

Hi there, old friend. You just don't have the slightest idea as to how happy I am to see you again in mylot. I have stopped for some years, tried to come back for some moments but never succeeded to stay on. I felt that there is something missing about mylot...and i am right...i miss my good old friends around here. Now, i am seeing them back in trickles. You happen to be one of them refreshing ones. The latest one at that. This is my fourth visit to this site since I came back again weeks ago and, happily, i came across your discussion.
I have had warts removal once. I had it in Manila, Philippines. What was used is the latest innovation in warts and mole removal wherein it takes no time at all to heal. Once the wart is removed, it is good as healed the following day regardless of the number or the size of the warts/moles removed. As for the other procedures, I am sorry that i have not had an experience with them.

i believe that anything that has to be remove in anything in our body is painful. for example everytime i see my wife pull the hair on her eyebrows i can see her twitch so i know that is painful and now she rather shave it than pull it. so when i also have pimples or white heads as what they call it it is painful but i guess since you are going to the expert you are in good hands. so maybe it is painful but after it would be something cool. goodluck

I had some plantar warts on my feet and hands when I was younger, but I never had to have them surgically removed. Instead, my doctor sent home some medicine that we had to put on them every day that would freeze them off little by little. I think that it took about two months before they were completely gone. While this did pretty much stink to have to go through, I can think of a lot of things that are more painful than that.
