Im not good in replying,what can i do?

I really don't care much about the BRs cause I don't earn anything for getting the best response. I only concentrate on participating in discussions cause this is where the money comes in. The best is to always check back on all the responses that you have left to further comment on it if someone has left you a comment in order to further the discussions. Who knows? Maybe once the discussion starter is satisfied with the answers he/she got, he may give you a best response for it.

Hello naseemkum, I'm exactly the opposite! I am a lousy discussion starter and I rather respond to others' discussions instead of starting new topics. How did you come to the conclusion you're not good in responding? Is it because of the small number of BRs you got? It doesn't matter if you earn the best response award into a discussion or not. What matters is to feel good and to engage into pleasant discussions with your friends. Responding doesn't mean only posting a single response. Follow the notifications from your inbox and go back to those discussions to comment back, furthering the discussion as much as you like. Even when you start new topics, make sure you turn them into real discussions, by commenting back the responses you get.

Depending on how many (Or Few!) responses you get,there is only one possible best response to select from all..don't worry if it's you or not..Just answer how you feel,be it supplying facts,experiences,or opinions..the more complete or informative your response,the better your chances of gaining a best response-Good Luck!

I don't think you should worry about the best response tag. Just keep on answering but see that your response is relevant to the topic. If you are interested in earning then this is the place. Also put in your comments wherever you feel necessary.Merely posting topics and not commenting on responses received will not help you earn.

Ohhh friend why you are worry I joined mylot 1 year before and still I got my response is best only in 5 discussions so why you think about it. Our duty is only responding not think about it. Lots of people response on single discussion this is not possible to give everyone as best response. I not think about star, rating, best response I am interested to do only fun and fun here with everyone

Hello Naseem, Even i am also not good in responding to the discussions. Only difference is i still try it and think i will get the sense to write on discussions through practice.I won't leave responding just because i did not get BRs more often. Also i suggest you to practice more and more and one day you will be able to satisfy yourself.

Hi naseemkum, just opposite and I spend most of my leisure time responding to friends or others discussions which I'm interested. It doesn't mean that I'm good in replying just because I don't have sufficient time to take care of my own discussions by commenting back to all the responses I have received. I like to participate in topics which I have more to share with and never bother about whether my response is good enough to be rewarded. I just enjoy the fun of writing and expressing what I know and what I have experienced, etc only, and never care about the best response. I don't think it would be real fun if one just concentrates on whether the reply posted could be marked as best response every time typing here Happy posting and have a nice day

I respond to discussion in accordance with my ability. I respond to discussion, which I really could respond. if I can not respond, I will skip to respond.

I don't believe I enter any discussions with the aim of receiving the best response. I try to put my "best foot forward" each time I do respond. I figure as long as my response is the best I can do this really is okay with me. Not receiving the best response doe not mean you are not doing well and or that it was not well received. There is only one option for a best response and it depends on the discussion starter and the type of discussion it is to determine which one is the best response. There are times that more then one could be thought of as the best response and although I do select one, I make sure to positively rate the ones that could also be deemed as best response. I would not allow myself to deter myself from responding simply if I did not receive the best response. I am very satisfied with the quality participation I do here each day. The best way to go about quality participation, is to simply enter discussions that interest you, this way you will find that you have plenty to say and or at times I do go online and research it a bit, so I have a full understanding of the topic, which enables me to give a quality response.

You should not stop starting or replying to discussion as it this is the way to qualify for "best reponses". The only suggestion I can give is as follows: - don't give up, continue what you're doing with discussions To qualify for "besr responses". Discussions doesn't have to be long. I recall someone who started a dicussion who asked some question a while ago and I replied with an answer containing one line and my comment got selected "Best response". Quality does not depend how long is contains. Understand that mylot isn't a contest. Again, continue what doing you'r doing!

Simply starting discussions will not do. We have to give reply comments suitably. Do not worry about your responses being not selected as best response. I have received roughly 50 best responses only out of 2400+ responses made by me. That is fine. Do what best you can do on any topic. Motivate yourself. Motivate others. You will see your rating goes up.

Oh naseemkum. You are more lucky than I am. At least you've got 2 best response, me I never had earned best responses though I guess my responses are pretty good and deserve to earn that best responses. Well I guess I will never had it even though how best my response is.

Well, I'm not really good in both starting or responding to the discussions. All you need only courage to share your opinion. There's no wrong or right here. If you want to respond a discussion, try to search for the topic that you know well.

I am pretty new here so I'm not an expert in this situation but I don't think it really matters that you don't get a lot of best responses. I would just keep trying and keep posting responses as well as starting discussions. If you start too many discussions you will have a hard time keeping up with commenting on people's responses and reading them all and since it is supposed to be a discussion you need to interact back and forth with the responses and not just post the discussion and not discuss the topic. I have only received one best response so far and it was just today that I got the email telling me. It was pretty exciting to get it but it isn't the most important thing about the site. Well, there are many of us who have been around for many yrs that respond back to 1000s of discussions and might only receive 5 Best Responses every 1000. I know it comes and goes in spurts for me and I am approaching 5 yrs. here. All I can say is just find discussions that you are interested in, and respond back to them, and hope for the Best. I would quit worrying about Best Responses and just continue to have Fun.

I've responded to thousands of discussions here since I joined mylot five years ago. I just type what comes to my mind but there are times when I am ticked off for not responding according to the topic. Maybe I did not grasp fully what the OP wrote. I am glad that my work pays as I've earned hundreds of BR to my name.

I don't usually earn best responses, but I definitely stink at atarting new discussions, so I keep on responding to my friends here. If you write what you think then you're on the right track, keep on!

i don't have that much of best responses either, but one thing i hold onto is to believe and have confidence in your responses. As long as you have given the discussion topic some thought before you start writing a response, and you present your response in a logical way, there's no reason to think that your response is no good. In my belief, any response that adds value to a discussion, by either enlightening others about the topic or adding a different perspective to the issue, is a good response. Hope this gives you something to think about.

Hello naseem, Just respond the way you know how, no one here will and ever judge you for you're english since it's not allow by mylot to judge every one's ability to write english in their post. and besides, what can you gain in gettiing the best responses anyways? the important thing about posting a response is that you can relate at least, and if you don't, then that's the time you go for other discussion. Don't stop making discussions, but make sure you comment in every response that you make

You need not negate first your attempt to respond because this will only make you more uneasy to give what you want to express,elaborate,explain and whatever it is that you got or have in your mind. Do not mind if you will be given or not the best response, what is important is you are able to give your point of views. Your english is not that worse, for as long as we understand what you are saying then that is enough.If there is always that fear in you that you will be rejected then you will always be a loser in your willingness to be heard and understood.
