New way to help out your friends on mylot

I don't have any emails coming through to say my friends have started a new discussion as it clogs our pc up too much. We only have an old pc to work on, hence we have to take turns on the pc as well.

Well since I my hubby and I are both currently enrolled in online courses, it's impossible for us to share computers, since we both tend to do our school work during the evening hours after we put our kids to sleep. So we bought each other laptops, so luckily I have my own computer as well as for him, so I don't have to be sharing it. So that helps a lot and I have more time to do my own thing when I am not working in school work.

I always save all my notifications under a different folder in my inbox so that at least when I have the time, I could go back and check on those discussions and place my responses when I feel I have something to add on.

I didn't realize that this OP has not commented back to all the responses. I hope she take the initiative to reply to all her responses and not leave them to fate as it won't help her to earn.

There is nothing much we can do if a person refuses to comment on her responses. Besides, there are no hard and fast rules in mylot to say that one need to comment. At the end of the day the OP is at the losing end.

Just reading this, after getting a pm which i will reply to tomorrow night when I shall have a big slot on here. Sorry if I have upset my freinds on here. I do konw that I'm not the only person on my lot who hasn't commented to discussions they have posted but can really see where you are all coming from. I do valur your friendship and haven't read this discussion back although I have read back some of my shorter discussions. I'm glad that you have tacken the time to bring this to my notice, to me it means that you are true friends as you still want to be my friend and do value my friendship. I have taken all this on board and will do better. I'll try and comment for some of you tonight but after the children have gone to bed tomorrow night 9pm ish I will def make amends and turn over a new leaf, I suppose with being back I just got carried away. But thank you for standing by me and for my friend who pm me. Hope I am forgiven. As I have a lot of discussions to reply to etc I may just do BR to them tomorrow night to tie loose ends up , this will also make things easier for me when I start new discussions because I shall know to check back properly and do my job properly. I hope this will be ok and you understand why I may have closed some of them only after a few days, but I know I'm going to get bogged down because I haven't done my job properly, so starting afresh and keeping on top of things will be a very good way to start. I really enjoy being on mylot and gald that you like me being here, being my friend and thinking most of my discussions are good ones. Well I have rambled on enough, hope this all makes some sort of sense and you all understand what I'm trying to say. I think what I shall do is make one new discussion called Making amends so I can keep on track of how you feel about me on mylot etc and it won't get confused in here. BUT I won't be able to comment until tomorrow night BUT I promise to comment to everyone who adds onto that discussion. Your friend still hopefully Anne18

Same here, Anne. That's how I got on your discussion. Now that we are friends, I'll never miss anyone of your discussions anymore.

You should respond to more discussions so that people will notice you. And always check back to see if there are any further comments being posted on your responses to have a good interactive discussions. It works for me that way. Good luck and happy myLotting!

But he was telling the truth all along, stine. He said myLot notified him and he was referring to the notification about Anne's discussion - this one.

They realise it and come to comment back.They know it afterwards that they are loosing fun and earnings by not interacting with people and thats what a discussion/MYLOT is meant for you have to discuss.

Glad you like this idea. I just look around and think about discussions to start, whats going on about me, what I have read in the newspaper or telly or what I hear people saying in the street to give me ideas

Till now I have had only one discussion with no response and I know how frustrating it can be. But I feel a bit odd also when I start a discussion with full of hope that I will get many and quality responses and I end up having only 1-2 responses. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate every single answer, but it feels much more better when I start a discussion and have many responses, so that I can focus only on one particular discussion. This way I can write more and it is easier to be very active. I also don't start many discussions, because I am lacking of inspiration, so I answer way more than starting new ones.

It seems this is another non stop starter. But we at least know we can talk to each other.

Based on something I saw today I think things may be changing.

Hi there Lily I'm earning and working very hard to get up to date so I can start afresh. Glad you have all earnt some money from me, even if it wasn't really the correct way, but I'm here now. Glad you all got some money while I was trying ot sort myself out, thanks to stine

Yes my earnings have gone up but this commenting does make mylot more fun amd friendly, wish I wasn't so pc think and I would have really learnt this fact first time around

Maybe she had something else to do and now she wants to catch up. But I agree with you, the best way to help yourself and others out is to comment back on what the others said, but only if you can add something extra to it.

Thank you again for everything, no one has been been rude or nasty just honest and giving me a kick up the bum. Thank you for speaking your mind, even though I was listening in the beginning, am listening now and have taken note and making amends as I said I would in the discussion titled that. Wanted a new discussion so it wouldn't get lost in this one. I have resolved all my discussions just so I can start again on the right foot so some of them may have given BR before I really would have done so but wanted ot get everything in order in my head so I could start afresh with my friends

Okay, you have a point here. I am not trying to defend her, just looking for some reasons that a person doesn't really reply to others writing. What I am concerned, I don't reply from a few reasons:1. I don't know what to write back. 2. I consider that everything has been said, so no need for further commenting. 3. I don't really understand what some users want to express. 4. When I get a comment on some of my replies, I don't get a notification from mylot, so I don't know that somebody has replied to my comment.

Well that's too bad. As a lot are actually commenting on this discussion. If she replies to all she might actually earn a lot.

That's right, we shouldn't just leave the discussion after responding to it. Besides rating the discussions/comments, we should also check back to see if someone else has left a comment on our responses/comments and if there is, we can further leave a comment to it to further the discussions.

Yes I'm having going through this discussion again and commenting, but how are you meant to do it on every discussion you reponse to? I used to response to loads of discussions and then they get lost in the system, I wish I weren't so pc thick and mylot thick Anyone write me some instructions for idiots? PLEASE

Lately, i have the habit of using the plus signs to my respondents who realy took time and effort to respond nicely. It gives me happiness doing so. It's the least that i could do for them .

i think she will return back soon as she knows that to comment back to the responses is as good as responding to the discussion which don't have any response.
