My kids will never know what its like to hear the sound Rice Krispies make

My kids cannot eat rice. It constipates them really bad if they eat products that even have rice flour in it. I remember when I was a kid I loved to eat Rice Krispies and listen to the sounds they made. I remember the commericals on television of snap krackle and pop. Does anyone else have a problem with eating rice products? I just hate that even simple things like this my kids miss out on. I was eating Crispy Rice cereal for breakfast and it got me thinking about this discussion.

It's really frustrating when a food we enjoy eating , cannot be eaten by our kids or not liked by them.
In your case, since eating rice does not have a good effect on your kids, then you can just let it be and instead introduce other foods that can be more or less of same nature as rice krispies. Perhaps those fruit cereals can have same nice sound effects like when you eat those rice krispies.

Sorry to hear this about your kids. I'm sure there are other products that they enjoy rather well, aside from rice and rice products.
As I type this response, there is a big box of Rice Krispies in front of the computer. My son was playing his game online last night, and was munching on some rice krispies as he was playing.

I was eating rice krispies the other day and I told my daughter to come listen to the sounds it makes. She laughed and thought that was pretty neat. She was sad that she couldnt eat them because she gets constipated from them. Her father loved rice krispie treats but the kids could never eat them. I didnt really like them very much so he would eat all of them by himself which he didnt mind having to do hehe.

When I was a baby, I couldn't eat wheat, and I had to eat rice cereal instead. That meant my mom had to cook the cereal herself since the baby foods all used wheat. I do remember eating Rice Krispies, and although I no longer eat the cereal, I do still love the Rice Krispie treats.
