Since Pres Obama has been elected the opposition has done nothing but put him down. He took over a mess and has been trying to get it straightened out with the best of his abilities. This mess that has to be dealt with has long been going on for years and Obama just got hit with it when he won the election. Something has had to give with our government and we have known that for a long time, but nothing has been done. Now we all are paying for it and some are trying to put all the blame on Obama. It took years to get into this situation and it will take years to get out, that is if things are done right this time. I hope our country don't keep messing up.

As long as we put up with this two party joke of a political system this corruption will continue to flourish. It's not just our politicians it is us the voters who keep putting the same politicians in office. We are all to blame for this economic mess we are in.

The problem with both parties is that they're spending money we don't have and no one knows how to fix it. This has been a problem for ages, but the President has been spending a lot of money, more than many other Presidents and his policies have not helped create jobs.
No one wants to spend money to stimulate the economy (I mean normal people, not politicians) because everyone's worried about whether or not they'll have a job. If you're worried about keeping your job, you're not going to go out and buy a new car or a new house.
People are also concentrating on getting out of debt too, so the credit card bills are being paid off instead of people spending money on stuff, they're busy paying off stuff, so that's part of it too.
The "super rich" people aren't spending money because they're worried about the economy just like the rest of us. Everyone's trying to make sure they're financially okay and that is why the economy is not "growing" like the politicians in both parties want it to.

Oh I so totally agree with you on all counts. The problem is the democrats and the republicans don't want to work together to fix the problems that were made for years by both parties. Until they come together to fix things and not think they are both right we will continue with problems and nothing will get fixed. I truly believe this will continue for years to come because neither party wants to come together to work it all out. So we the public will continue to suffer all due to politicians only caring about themselves and what money they can put into their pockets.

It is the task of the opposition to critisize the elected party. This is the only way to keep them sharp. Since the elected party is not close to the people at all and if they just ignore what they really need or want.
It's the same over here and I think everywhere.
Personally I believe Obama was not really elected it was already made up.
With each election over here we hear that what will be elected in the USA will be elected over here too. That already is prove to me enough that it's all set up.
The USA was ready for a black man or woman, but a black man was better in this case.
I too hope your country won't keep messing up because they mess it up for many countries with that behaviour. Esp. because they can't stop interfereing everywhere.
I also hope that most countries will be able to clean up their mess, seems to be a dark winter everywhere. The people are tired of all the empty promises, the cheap lies, nobody really believe in a change anymore. Each year at the 3rd Tuesday in September we hear the same message from our queen: we have to save more and more to survive the crises. But how much we save it is never used for the people. We only help out other countries in need, give big loans (and never get payed back) and we are one of the less countries who still keep themselves to all the rules made to be able to join the European Union (= paying again).
Who knows December 21 the world will end, in the way that finally something will change into the good of all of us.
