Does anyone know how to retrieve ftp information for the domain on godaddy??

Thanks. I am so confused now. I bought one with wordpress and it says it is for Linux though I have windows Vista :( Moreover, I have tried getting them linked and it says it will take sometime like 30 minutes before hosting will be activated. Confusion is that will I get ftp username and password another ones or I selected? And if I will be able to control on windows or not now??

You don't have to worry about Linux. They are friendly little penquins. :-) ie: if you mean their side is Linux or server side then that is fine, unless you meant your ftp software for your computer then yes, you will need to download a windows version. Yes, there is a lag time in the registration process but getting a message lets you know you will have one. Congrats. You will be able to upload any files you want using the webpage they provide under web page 'manager' from your computer. If you would rather use ftp (faster) then there is a setting in the ftp software where you put your domain site address and your password to auto connect when you launch the software from windows.
