The information you want is on this page: http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq6.aspx#15
As others have said, there is NO fixed rate or 'payment per post'. It depends on the quality of your participation as a whole, how others rate your discussions, responses and comments and other things which aren't specified.
Earnings are calculated daily (usually) and displayed/updated at approximately 10am (MyLot time ... see the bottom of the page). Sometimes there are delays, especially at weekends, but normally you will see what you earned on the following day.
It is also important to understand that your earnings may vary (up or down) as earnings are recalculated to take into account deleted discussions and so on.

There's no actual rate per post or per discussion started. The money you will earn will depend on the quality of your post. if it's just 1 or 2 sentences, then you will only earn a small amount. but if you post some quality replies, your earnings will be high. at least that's what I read on other discussions.

There is no set rate per post. MyLot has a unique algorithm that calculates how much we have earned for what we did.
Just be active and post quality content and you will be able to see how your earnings come.
Everyone earns a different amount per day depending on what they do. Some people earn only a few cents a day, some earn 50 cents a day, and some of the more active members earn over a dollar a day.
Happy myLotting!
