Oh, Wow! I just heard, and wow... http://www.usatoday.com/tech/news/story/2011-09-22/steve-jobs-dies/50672498/1 he was 56.
I knew that he had stepped down from his position with Apple, and that he'd been fight some cancer. I did not know, however, that it was that bad. I lost my grandfather, 3 days after Christmas, when I was 12. Two years ago, my oldest friend lost his dad to lung cancer. Condolences to all his people.
Please, if you haven't heard, share this, and offer your 2 cents. [=

That is really sad news. What an early age to die at. It makes me feel so thankful for having such a great inventor. He has paved the way for many people and has let me enjoy the Ipod, Ipad and Iphone. There really isn't a person who can replace Steve Jobs. Intelligent, wise and charismatic are what describe Steve Jobs. He is someone that will never be forgotten.

I was just told by my father. now i'm watching the news. It was saad but expected news. He never would have stepped down from his post had his health not taken a turn for the worst. The world has lost a visionary.

I also just heard this very sad news. I knew that he was ill and I felt that he was terminal, but I did not expect such sad news so soon. Only 56. That's very young in today's society. He had a wonderful life and has left quite a legacy. But to die so young. Steve was a Buddhist so I expect that he and family believe in reincarnation. And that he will be back with us eventually.
I was at the mall today and went by the Apple store. It was sort of empty which was unusual.
