The pain was unbearable and it lasted for half an hour. Then i consulted a doctor he said like it may be apendicitis, u should be admitted and start the treatment. i was worried much. Do anybody know about this apendicitis? is it a critical one ?

Yea appendicitis can kill you. It doesnt go away as far as I know. It comes on and then if the appendix isnt taken out it will burst. The infection will spread through all your organs and it will kill you. My niece was taken to the hospital earlier this week and they thought she had appendicitis but it wound up only being a bowel impaction thankfully.

Appendicitis is an infection or inflammation of the appendix. It is a small and apparently useless part of the intestines. If appendicitis isn't treated quickly, it can cause peritonitis and can be life threatening.
Usually the treatment is just an operation to remove the appendix. It is a simple operation but no operation is entirely without risk, so the recommended treatment these days may just be a course of antibiotics.
It is wise to get it seen to as soon as possible (and, of course, at the very least, you don't want to be in pain!).

Yes, it can kill. Even if it is a mild case, it will keep coming back all through your life. If the doctor suggests removing it surgically, do it! It is better to spend one week in a little pain and discomfort, rather spend your whole life worrying about it.
