With Steve Jobs gone, a worthy opponent of Bill Gates do you think there is still someone competitive enough to match Bill Gate's brilliant mind? People only do their best when there is competition. We push our mind and body to it's limit so that we can be on top. Now Steve Jobs is gone, do you think technology will still innovate this quickly with one of the brilliant minds that innovate technology to its limit is gone? True that technology will still evolve but one of the pillars gone do you think we can still rose that quickly just like the time when Bill Gates and Steve Jobs are competing for the best?

Where on Earth did you get the idea that Bill Gates has a brilliant mind? He hasn't touched anything technical for years! Steve Jobs did have some great ideas. Comparing the two men together is just ridiculous. Chalk and cheese!

I tend to agree with Peter that Gates is definitely not a technical guy. But I think he was a brilliant strategist and marketing brain. The way he setup Microsoft by continuous and constant campaigning and evangelizing it's use in corporates, was brilliant. But he was not an innovator in the same league as Steve Jobs!! Cheers! Ram

Youre right. Steve Jobs did have a BIG job in such of the technology we have now. I think technology will still innovate as fast.

Of course. He may have pioneered on many things but these days, there are also great minds who are emerging everywhere. But of course, Steve Jobs is a tough act to follow! He was a brilliant man.
