Step by step guide on how to earn good on mylot.com?

I am new on mylot. I have joined just one day back. I would like to know how to earn on mylot. I know that we have to start new discussions, post comments and refer to ear. But i would like to know from you (people who have earned a lot on mylot and are earning well as well as those who are ready to help) what are all the different ways of making money on mylot? and also how to exactly earn through those ways? I would also like to know do's and don't on mylot if any ( now plz do not tell me to read the t&c. They are too long and boring) Please mention them in short. Hope to get atleast some responses.... Anyone there to help??? Anyone???????

Welcome to myLot!
myLot is a discussion site and there is no way around not reading the guidelines and FAQ sections. Believe me if you do not take the time to read and learn them you will waste a great deal of efforts and perhaps leave the site because you will not understand it. myLot Admins are very active here and monitors the site daily:[u][/u]

You will have some members perhaps give you their opinions and if you are not with the direct myLot information you will find that you are not doing what is expected in order to earn, since earnings is a factor.
A quick run down to prove the above, is that none of us earn for the efforts of others. In other words, I earn for the quality I type and you earn for the quality you type.
* Start quality discussions so you have plenty to comment back to your responders. (This is the part that you will waste efforts if you feel that responders typing their responses earns you, it does not.
* Respond to others discussions with useful and helpful information. (This is you typing and applying efforts, so you will earn).
I could go on and give you many more tips, but I am afraid it might get too long

In the process of writing this post, i got to learn one more thing that untill you reach a rank of 200, you cannot use mylot smileys. :(

Yes you are right and there are several members who reach way past that point and do not realize they could have used them. There is a lot of information in the links, while many of us try and help as much as we can there will be some who will unintentionally give you the wrong information.
