Something Steve Jobs said that strikes me

"You can't connect the dots looking forward, you can only connect them looking backwards." He was talking about how he took up a course in calligraphy back in his college days, and it didn't seem relevant at that time, it was only later when he incorporate what he learnt into the mac design that he realized that it was a course well taken. I thought this is a great philosophy! We may be learning many things in our life that may seem irrelevant or even useless but who knows when the knowledge may come in useful. We can only know from experience. What's your opinion on this? Is this applicable to you?

Oh yeah! I completely agree! Hindsight is always 20/20. After some time, and only after we've gone through some trials can we take stock of our life and realize a lot of little things happened for a reason. And it all brought you to where you are now.

"Our experiences add up" I suppose we can only truly appreciate this when we are more advanced of age. When we are younger, everything seems unconnected and irrelevant, unless you know right from the start what you want.

as the say: "You can never find the worth of something until it is gone." Same case here, we tend to ignore the value of something, because we don't its value. So, what I'm doing right is collecting my old notes for future reference.

It is good to do that, I have seen people write notes everywhere. On first sight, it doesn't seem to link up to anything, but eventually it may do. We just do not know when. It would be helpful to keep accumulate knowledge, until the day we need to use it.
