I will take a BLS(Basic Life Support Exam) next week and I don't have much time to read the whole book the hospital gave me. I still have 8 hours everyday work and when I try to read the book I feel sleepy and tired. I will try to drink stimulant drinks now in order to stay awake because I don't wanna fail it because it is embarrassing especially to my workmates.

So, have you taken your exam yet?
How was it?
I have an unorthodos way of studying when I was still in school. I would always have the TV on while I read. Every fact that I try to learn in the book, I try to reference it on the scene to whatever show is on TV. It makes it easier for me to remember come exam time.

Honest to goodness... I cram... I study night or hours before an exam... During my college days which is just a few years ago we had a subject that covers 7 chapters of the book... I read the whole 7 chapters like 5 hours before the said exam... My advise to you with the limited time is that you study the key words only.... Mostly of what you will be reading are elaborations of the overview... Don't memorize in verbatim... understand it on your own words/terms... and while you are reading envision what you are reading in your mind as if you are really doing it... it works for me...hope it works for you too... God Bless to you too...

My suggestion is to look through all the headings and sub-headings in the entire book. This will give you an overall view of the entire topic. Look through past year's exam papers to see a trend in the questions that are like to come out and concentrate on those. Try to answer some of the exam questions yourself to see if you are able to do that.

You can study by making a simple note of the book. Write things that important only to a notebook or some paper that you will be read everyday...
Enjoy like my teacher said.
