Is that really so that "mountain"inhabitants speak more loud? If so I do find that interesting.
I think dutch people speak way too loud or perhaps everyone in Holland is. My ears are painful if I am in between dutch people who try to speak louder and louder so everyone can hear them above the rest of the people (who speak very loud too).
I can't sit in between that noise.
You say Greek women speak loud and they have a deep manly voice.. so this means men speak loud. Which I think they do since they have bigger lungs. I think if a man shouts you will hear it harder as when a woman does (Yelling is not shouting or speaking loud it's an annoying noise in a certain tone that hurts the ears).

I think it's true. Women seem to yell a lot more too. I'm a woman and people always tell me I speak rather loud, so it might be true. Although I've got a ten year older brother, and he speaks really loud as well. Maybe it's more genetic? Haha.

Ummm usually yes but all the time, no. I think men can speak louder than women too. It just depends on who the person is and what features they carry. I have a guy friend and trust me he can scream louder than I can, or anyone in the class.

Women are not able to speak louder because their lungs are smaller.
Perhaps they talk more as some men do?
Ever heard men yell at a football station, or heard a coach, teacher shouting?
Or what about directors or salesmen.
If it comes to raising your voice and the volume the men will win for sure.

Yeah mostly women speak louder than men but there are instances that men can do it too..Maybe its depend on the situation or on person where to speak louder.
