I have a doubt. When someone uploads a video in youtube, is it illegal to download it and share it through my own channel. The intention is to have a solid video link, otherwise, people who click the link i have shared on any websites will end up in video not found page if the original uploader removes the video.

Kay in case your stuff has some 'copyright' material of someone elses... My advice, credit their work in the description! List your sources always - as I learned back in high school with doing a lot of stuff in art class and English class. So I'm kind of use to it and it sunk into my mind when I do things like that. I usually have my notepad open on the computer and copy and paste links so I don't get nagged at etc by the original users for photoshopping my art etc.
Solid video link? Like... Something that's your own? Or someone elses? Like if it's a link for someone else that you're sharing, it's their decision to remove it. :( Then it's a pain in the butt to go find another thing like that. Would you please give more details and clarify me on this situation?

I think if you want to take someone else's video, you have to ask for permission first. Then if they agree you can take them but make sure to give the original poster some credits in the description box or somewhere.
