HONGKONG IS A NICE PLACE. BUT HAVEN'T BEEN THERE EVER SINCE. i WOULD LOVE TO TRAVEL THERE IF TIME PERMITS. SINCE I HAVE NO IDEA ABOUT TRAVELING TO THAT PLACE, I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW THE CHEAPEST HOTEL THERE WHICH IS NEAR THE DISNEYLAND. CAN ANYBODY GUIDE ME TO? ASIDE FROM DISNEY WHAT IS THE BEST SPOT WHOM WE CAN SEE IN HK?

Actually there are so cheap hotels in Hong Kong. It locates in some buildings and it is not an official hotel. But it is clean and nice. It is just very small but everything is well equipped. It locates in the downtown so it is very convenient for you to go anywhere. You can search these information via the net. If you want to live near the Disney Land, then there are just two hotels there. I have been to the Disney Land in Hong Kong and I am not very interested in it. It is just not my style. I prefer to go to the Ocean Park much more. If you have children, you shall go to the Science Museum in Hong Kong and my son likes it so much. I love China

I am also heading there and have been researching backpacking accommodations and am now interested to stay in either Chungking or Mirador Mansions along Nathan Street in Tsim Sha Tsui. Besides the movies about the Chungking mansions, I also read a lot about them and they sound so interesting. I could probably explore them for days as, besides guesthouses, they also have restaurants and shops and a lot of migrants from different countries stay there. Unfortunately, this is in Kowloon and Disneyland is in Lantau. I also want to explore Tai Po and the beaches and eating spots.
