Since the day I started using Cell Phone, I never forget to take it along with me when ever I stepped out of my house till today. I used to wonder when some of my friends, clients say that they forget to put their cell phone in to their office bag / pant pockets, or battery down etc. I went out in the morning and boarded into the MRTS train, stood for a while and finally got a seat. As usual put my hands into my pocket to take the cell phone out to hear the music, I found it was missing, and I was shocked. Whether I missed it at home or when entering into the train along with the crowd.
Lots of thought, regarding the calls I am waiting to receive and calls to be made. Then I thought of stopping this line of thinking. Just focused on other things around. Challenged myself to manage without a cellphone. I did succeeded for a whole day without the cell phone.
Of course, after returning home, found 13 missed calls. Called back and finished each work.
How about your experience. At least, are you ready to be without a cell phone for a day?

if we dont have important calls , if we dont expect any friends calls or messages, then we can be cool without a cellphone if not that thought would be continuously bothers that we dont have cell phone with us,It is to facilitate us not to make us bother .So should use the cell in a good way to help us our work more and more flexible and easy. Not to make a condition that we use it continuously or leaving it and bothering for it.

Yes. Very true. I am into business, and also into Insurance. I get more calls, and each one is valuable to me. But today, I decided to be cool, and not to worry. Focused around, and felt immense pleasure, watching the people around, college guys, a baby with its mother, an elderly couple talking about their grandchildren, two office goers arguing on political situation. Wow... it was nice to see around. Of course it was a tough challenge for me until I came home and noticed that there were 13 calls. Phoned back 9 calls that were with names. May be 4 calls from some tele calling companies. hehehehe...

LOL! I can relate. My husband told me that I can never last a day without my cellphone especially when I'm outside the house. Glad that you managed to last that day without it. That was something that really challenged your patience! Way to go!

Really it was a tough challenge for me initially. Of course, I quickly adjusted my thought process, with various logical reasoning, like what if there is a cyclonic storm and flood, power failure, etc. and focused on the travel initially and later went to my Insurance Office, and involved in various activities that are to be attended. Finally, while on the return back home, again, the thought came, and started guessing on how many calls and who might have called etc.

Yeah, I think so. I don't really expect some very important calls everyday, other from my immediate family. Especially when I'm already at home, I really don't entertain calls regarding work because I always try to make sure that I finish my work at work before the day is done so that when I'm home, nobody will be bothering me. I look at calls regarding work during my family time as overtime.
