Me and my cousin was strolling last thursday from SM Megamall A&B to Robinsons Galleria. We sat for a while to check out the book that I bought. When we finished checking it out. And starting roaming inside Rob Galleria, the wallet of my cousin was lost/snatch/pickpocketed. We already report it to the Mall Admin both mall. But until now we have receive any text/call from them.
But my concern was, How can he get a New PRC ID. He is just new here in Manila.

you have to report to the police for what happened. .then get an affidavit of lost and file to the PRC. .when will be the expiration of his PRC ID. .?. .if it will expire soon just wait for it to expire before filing a new one but if it will expire 2 years from now you can file it again and state in the form of replacement of new ID. .

you better get a new one because it is needed in his work. .they will not ask the old PRC Id anymore. .just present the affidavit of lost and the police report and the application form for filing a replacement ID. .

Your cousin must report to PRC about that happen to her PRC ID. Then go to a lawyer and ask for affidavit of lost to apply another ID from PRC...
Ask also the SM guard which you report about the problem to corroborate your affidavit submit to PRC so that they will review the appeal of your cousin. If they cannot receive any attach report from the SM admin office...You need to wait for sometimes before they approve your appeal for another new ID

You should report it to the police so that you have an official police report. When you have this, you take it to the folks that issued the PRC ID and explain what happened. They need to know this in case someone else is using your cousin's ID. Then, they can issue another one.

exactly what they said. Need to get a police report to prove what has happened. Also make sure you make a copy of the report for you may need it to use for anything else the person has used the stolen ID with.
YOU HAVE TO DO THIS ASAP, the longer you wait, the more damage can be DONE.

Even if you forgot to report it to the police, go and do it anyway.
Ask for a copy of the police report, then make a copy of it so you have
one for yourself. Maybe make a couple just in case..
Then go and try and get a replacement. IF they ask what happened you
have the police report to give them.

i think you should get an affidavit of loss and then report it immediately to PRC so that they will have a record of the loss just in case someone will use it and so that the processing for the new one will be started.
