By the time you will read my response, you would have become a perfecto in your job. Congratulations, its a great opportunity. The best way to act around the boss is to match your yes into his yes. Its the best way you can win his view. And always request to suggest. Keep your suggestions as better as you can.

I think just be yourself, plus show a willingness to work and complete tasks, without (if your boss turns into the type of person who does) allowing yourself to be taken advantage of.

Just be yourself and do your assignments...
What are your assignments.... 1) know the people around you... 2) know the company policies and procedures 3) know the details of your job assignment 4) read more regarding your work/job 5) Ask questions or help if you do not know what to do about the assigned work... asking question or requesting help would not give an impression that you know nothing about your new work.. it is just confirming if what you know is the same with what your boss is thinking...

Congratz, I think what you should do is to show how you can be an asset to the company, most bosses and business owners always have this in mind when they hire workers. Show genuine and sincere keen interest in what you are tasked to do and learn as much and as quickly as possible, show them how good you are in following and obeying rules and instructions. First impressions always count, so do not be late and see to it that you are dressed or attired properly and in accordance with what you are about to do and job description, good luck

Congratuations to you that you are going to start a new job. It's normal for us to be nervous in a new environment. Just take it easy and be the best of yourself. Good luck!

I would say for the most part be yourself :) you got that job on your own so show them they made a great decision. And be sure and let your boss know that you appreciate the opportunity to work for such a great company like his and also that you wont let him down. Be sure and let him know that you will do everything in your power to keep your job and be successful at it! Then of corse let your actions speak for themself as well. Glad you got a job...good luck!
