Calcutta we call it in my home country. I believe that it is a very busy and large city with some interesting sites in its center. I know that it has many slums on the outer part of it. I feel that most of the people that live there are very poor indeed. Mother Teresa was a nun and she worked there helping the poor and needy people. I know the some other cities in India have slums too. In the past I think British rich people lived there but now it is under Indian rule.

I think it became the 7th largest city in the world in terms of area. It's not in terms of how the city looks like. Even the world's largest city has a lot of forests, no people. But still considered part of the city.
