For the first time I was in Kalibo Airport. I rode the plane going to Manila 'yesterday. The airport is bigger than that of Labo Airport in Misamis Occidental and that of Dipolog City Airport as well as that of Cagayan de Oro City. I traveled thru these airports. Cagayan de Oro and Dipolog Airports, it was during the time that Labo Airport was still closed. And now that it is opened I always travel thru Labo Airport. Now, in Kalibo Airport, I guess most of the passengers are foreigners but we can't recognize some of them as they are also asians and look like filipinos such as cambodians, indonesians, malaysians, thais, etc.. Every hour zest air has a plane scheduled to fly. So many passengers. For the international flight haven't no knowledge how many times but there are people sitting at the departure area who will be leaving outside of the country.

It an amazing thought to process. There are so many temporary moments in life, just like the day when you were at the airport. Passengers on planes look forward to what they will do at their destinations. Airports, planes and the countless services that airlines offer feel like a grandness that so many other modes of transportation can't replace.

I agree with you. During that moment at the Kalibo Airport I was thinking as to where the plane will land. I looked at my ticket and what was placed there is Domestic Airport. Then while we were about to board the plane I overheard someone talking thru her phone and told the person on the other and that we will be landing at the old domestic airport so what I did was to send a text message to my son that we will be at the old domestic airport. When I arrived, my son told me that they were told that the old domestic airport is also known as Terminal 4.

Good evening dear mylloter friend pahak627 , myself i am usually honest to say , a train travelling fan type rather then the airplane , but even soo , three years ago , i had to go from Roumani, Bucharest to France,Marseille ,even though i have researched and have found a train course to Marseille,France, from Roumania , the travel was a little bit unplanned and had cammed in a period where my financial situation was in some sort of lets say Reforming ( i was unnemployed at the moment) and the train travell was alot more expensive then the airplane travel was , so i finnally decided to take the airplane , so with the mind made i started to pack and prepare , once i arived at the airport , logged my luggages , and embarqued, i arrived at the Marigagne Airport , a small airport , with cheap flight but a pretty good service , but the thing and the clich is that when i arived , and went in line to wait for my luggages , i have waited for almos one and half hour , untill i decided that my luggages where either lost either taken by someone else , so i went to an office , told the lady at the office , and after mmaking a search on her computer , she had came back and told me that my luggages , have been take a little detour to Egypt and they should be back in a few days . So here it is , how i had to wear one single pair of clothing for four straight days in a row , untill my luggages retourned lowl. Have a great evening dear friend.

Well, sorry to hear of the inconvenience that you encountered. That is really a bad experience. I think that rarely happens. Maybe there was just some sort of a confusion there. My officemate had also experienced something which is a bit similar to your case. It took her two weeks to recover her lost baggage. She had made several phone calls to Manila where she started her travel. And you know what, the baggage was found in her place of destination it was just included in a baggage of a certain courier. That is due to negligence and inadvertence. In the Philippines, for long distance travel from Luzon particularly manila to Visayas and Mindanao we only have airplane or ship. But from Metro Manila to Bicol, there are trains traveling. I came from Mindanao so I have to choose whether airplane or ship.

I live in Europe and from here flights go to Manila the capital city and Cebu Island. I have heard about Clark Airport that flights from Hong Kong go to as well as Manila. It is the first time I have heard about other international airports in the Philippines used by Thais, Cambodians, Indonesians, Koreans and Malaysians. I wonder if Zest Air is a low cost airline. In my home country my nearest airports are Bristol, Exeter and Cardiff. Though I usually go to London Heathrow and London Gatwick.
