Are we working ?

I think it won't be problem when we work we can sing, fun, surf and play game. But what if these activities, we neglect our work. Indeed, the company owners don't know what we do, because they are in Aussie. But i think from within ourselves, we have to have a sense of shame. I sometimes feel annoyed, if there is someone telling a story, singing a song when working. I am not the type of people who like to judge, ordered, perfect. I just feel annoyed or irritated. I asked myself whether we're singing a contest or having a vacation ?

I worked for a company that had many employees that would spend their time playing games, reading emails and visiting websites because there were no bosses looking over their shoulders. It would drive me crazy because I was often doing their work as well as my own. I don't mind talking among employees, or the radio on, or a cd playing etc.
But eventually, their non working environment caught up with them. It seems the people who owned the company was keeping tabs on every website that everyone in the company visited while on company time. There were more than a dozen people who were fired for "Inappropriate actions."

I wouldn't work at the company like that. I was irritated by people who like chattering when at work. I think they deserve firing from their job, because they didn't do their job. That's good for the company.
