Having dogs bring bad luck in our household as some people said...

I have a five years old cat and a three months dog .we are friends.they bring us many happiness to my family.I don't think there is any bad luck to me!

I haven't heard anybody saying that having dogs bring bad luck in a household. In the country area everybody owns a dog (if not more) and if what you heard was true, they would all have bad luck. In this case, we would be a people of unlucky families! Don't worry, Mobhomeir. Love your dogs as you already do and forget about mean comments about your hobby. Those who don't love dogs always try to convince everybody that owning a dog is a bad thing.

It is the other way around, as far as we know. Having pets in the house are not bad luck... they would even be the once to catch the bad luck for you instead of you being sick, in Chinese culture some pets would even just get sick or die for their owners.

Wow..I have never heard that before. It is very common here to have dogs in the house. Usually smaller dogs but I have known people to keep very very large dogs inside..lol. I don't think I have experienced bad luck since I got my dogs. I wonder why they are supposed to bring bad luck? Take care.

The only animal I have ever heard is bad luck is a black cat. I had one of those and I did have bad luck. I don't think it was the cat though, because my luck was bad before and after him. So I guess I would have to say I don't believe anything like that.
