Today it is going to be Pollard vs. Gayle. Who do you think will fire?

In the CL T20 final, today MI take on RCB in an all indian affair. In the battle of power hitters, it doesn't get bigger than Pollard vs. Gayle. Who do you think will fire today on the big day. Especially given the slow pitch at Chennai, I think Gayle would be more effective than Pollard. What are your views? Cheers! Ram

i also think that Gayle will fire more as he is looking in good touch on the other hand Pollard is not looking in his full form so i go with Gayle this time,but the good thing is that the cup is coming to India.......!

I think the pitch will have a say in the match. Especially for the RCB boys who are so much used to ball coming onto their bat. Now they will need to counter the slow nature of the pitch. Cheers! Ram

It will be very intersting to see who wins this battle.but for me,it will be pollard because he has been playing at chennai and even if he doesn't bat well today he will bowl decently as he did yesterday.very important for mumbai indians to take wicket of gayle as early as possible if they want to win the match and trophy and they have potential to do so because of slow pitch at chennai.eagerly waiting for the match to be started..

Yes, if MI can take the wicket of Gayle early, then they definitely would be on the box seat. I think that onus will go to Malinga. He is MI's chief striker with the ball and they will be looking for him to strike early. Cheers! Ram

I think the toss will be crucial. Given that this is the big match, the team winning the toss would like to the put a score on the board. So for RCB that will also be a change from their usual plan of chasing scores!! Cheers! Ram
