What is your favorite anime?

Hi guys! What is your favorite anime, and what genre? I have lots in my list. 
For shounen genre, I love Bleach, Naruto, One Piece, Hunter x Hunter, Yu Yu Hakusho, Code Geass, Outlaw, Elfen Lied, Air Gear. For shoujo, I love Fruits Basket, Hana Kimi (though it's only manga 
), Lovely Complex, Skip Beat, Special A.
How about you, guy? Recommend some so I can watch those during my spare time.

Hi Timeout i love your list!
I had watched some on your list. I just forgot to wrote it down lol.
I love Ranma, marmalade Boy, and Fushigi Yuugi (bad kind of annoying).
I will try the Full Metal Alchemist.
I heard some good reviews about this anime. Thanks a lot.

Oh Miaka you mean, yes she is a bit immature, but she grows up when the series go further. In the last chapter you can see her eyes changed. I really cried hard with Fushigi, only Full Metal Alchemist made me cry like Fushigi did. Specially with the Tamahome family scene (I don't want to spoil it for anyone but I am sure you know what am I talking about).

Naruto is great. However the fillers are really annoying. I love the part when the Pains attacked Konaha. I like the newly improved Naruto. I'm not a fan of Sasuke and Sakura though.

My favorite animes are Fullmetal Alchemist and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Trigun, Durarara!!, Hellsing Ultimate, Generator Gawl, Bleach Romeo X Juliet, The Slayers, Gurren Lagann, Bleach DNAngel, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex and so many others.

I enjoy a similar list, but usually most of the anime I watch are suggested by my cousin, I don't venture out looking for new anime. But my favorite of all currently is One Piece. I am not sure why, but it always attracts me back. There is something about the creativity and the idea of the story that is hard to die. It is not your usual brutal and blood gore anime which is slowly appearing in mainstream.
It is really casual but still full of action. Above all else, the character of "Luffy" is really something. He is your usual "dumb" and "strong" lead character, but if you analyze it carefully, he is not naruto or goku who are the considered the strongest and will always save the day. HE is similar, but different, in a way that "Luffy's" ability is not the best, but because of his determination, he is slowly becoming the best. I am not sure if I am making sense .
But currently, the only anime I cannot stop watching is One Piece.

I totally agree with you. I love One Piece, it's my most favorite anime. It's very different from other shounen anime. I like Bleach and Naruto, but there is something different on One Piece, especially Luffy. I love his character, he's so funny and strong. It has been fourteen years seen the first release of this anime, and I'm surprised that the mangaka is still full of ideas. There are no boring episodes.

So you like shounen anime. I also love shounen, but I still sometimes watch shoujo for a change. I have tried watching all anime in your list, except for fairy tail. I heard it is a really good anime. I better write it in my "to watch" list. Thanks a lot!
