What are things that you expected to happen in a job interview? Questions usually ask in an interview? Any tips how to pass an interview?

I agree with mariahh's post. Those are the most common questions the interviewer will ask you. In addition I also got this question which I'm not sure if I answered it well during my interview. "How will you handle a horrible boss?" It's a very tough question since it will really test your attitude on how you handle different situations. I guess the best way is to stay calm and be your self. Be confident but not to boastful. Companies need smart people, not intelligent geeks. They will prefer those who are willing to learn than those who are not open-minded enough to accept suggestions/criticism. Bottom line is it all falls to your attitude.

I second that on what redyps said on being yourself. Not only is this a philosophically true statement, there's also a practical part as well. If you have to be someone else to get the job, then someone else should get the job. In other words, if you can't get the job as yourself, then the job isn't for you. You probably won't like, it and when your employer finds out you're actually someone different, then they may find that you're just grinding on, and not really doing your job in the best possible way.

I had been to several job interviews and I'm happy to say that I had never been rejected (oops..I had been rejected once on my first interview. She only looked at me and said, "oh my, you are too young for the job. Sorry". Duh. My age is written on my CV. I hope she read it first before asking me to come to their verrrry far office). Anyways, there is one question that every job interviewer ask. It's "Tell me about yourself". For me, it is the hardest question ever. In answering this question, you have to be specific. You have to develop your own personal branding statement that clearly states who you are, your strength, and the benefits your employer received. Other common Job interview questions are: What is your greatest strength? What is your greatest weakness? What major challenges did you face? How did you handle them? What are your salary expectations? In answering questions, remember: Don't memorize! You don't have to memorize anything. It is going to be hard if you memorize an answer. They will notice it. You always have to be positive. If they asked what is your weakness, try to turn a negative into a positive. Good luck!

Dress appropriately, pay close attention to what the interviewer is asking and saying,A good listener is a sign of a good follower.look directly to his/her eyes.try to know more about the company you're applying for the job.and shake hands before n after the interview......and lastly you'll be asked if you have any question,to show that you're success driven individual you can ask if the company promotes from within.....or if there's room for advancement.......good luck n go break a leg.
