Coffee is actually good for the skin.

I was surprised with the effect of coffee on the skin. I saw a TV program where a model/actress was featured and part of daily regimen is to rub coffee on her skin. She said it can avoid the appearance of cellulite. So I checked on the internet and yes it is true. Since coffee is a vasodilator it works to firm and tighten your complexion. It also naturally full of antioxidants. However, if you drink too much of it you could have a drying effect. It is best to drink coffee in moderation to enjoy the numerous antioxidants which could benefit your body. You can refer to this site for more information about the effect of coffee on the skin. http://chugginmccoffee.hubpages.com/hub/Coffee-For-Amazing-Skin-Care

Recently I understood that coffee has some health benefits. Previously I thought everything with coffee is negative and bad for the health. Apparently there are some good things to derive from it also.

Exactly, the health benefits can only be enjoyed if it is consumed in moderation.

Well me too. I am only an occasional drinker of this beverage and not that I have realized the benefits of it, I think to have one cup a day will be good. But as I've said on my post excessive intake of coffee will not be good. Just like everything else. It should always be in moderation.

I have not heard of this I thought coffee is just for drinking. This is good news and a very costlier way to make our skin look good. So we can do it in our home instead of going to spa or other beauty health experts. Thanks fr the info my friend.

Well, I really think this commercial was promoted. There seem to be many products on the market that promise similar results, but once you try it personally, it won't be as promising. Try reading reviews from online sites, most specifically forums or amazon reviews. These will curb the exaggeration appeal and give you more insight about how effective this product will really be. My favorite skin care products are from the brand name Oil of Olay. You should experiment with this as well.

I am not talking about a skin care product here but using coffee itself. Olay is good and I've used that before. But I would like to go more into organic products and something more natural. I am currently using a carrot soap.. It certainly made my skin especially my face more radiant and free from pimples. My mom has been using this soap and she looked younger than her age.

I actually read this in a library book recently. It's called the Green Beauty Guide, and the author also has a website with the same name, I suppose if you look it up on a search engine it will come right up. She had a lot of good advice in the book, and many recipes made out of foods and other natural products that you can make yourself....everything from face scrubs, shampoo, to baby wipes. It also has a lot of information about chemical ingredients in products at the store that are bad for you, and products that are safe. Worth checking out. Coffee is great, but you should be careful to drink fresher beans. Grind them at the store or at home, avoid buying pre-ground coffee if possible. And when you buy the beans, the oilier they look, the better. coffee can go rancid just like rice or pasta or beans.

I checked it. I would love to have the book. She even got yummy recipes for scrubs and other things. You might think that she is preparing a dessert. Thanks for this share.

Hehe so you have watched the show. Yeah she is one of the most beautiful faces in the showbiz in my opinion. Her beauty is simple yet with class. I am not really a coffee drinker but I bet I'll find out more about this so I could use its benefits.
