Comforting words in music

I came from a travel and with me were songs and music that comforted me all throughout the journey. It becomes an explicable diversion when work has intruded even your personal time. Songs has lyrics that are true, reel, imaginary, or soulful. But whatever it means, it soothes a bad mood, it lifts up a depressed spirit, and most of all it makes life more enthusiastic. These words become powerful from these immortal songs, really it becomes a confidante.

Precisely I always found comfort when listening to my favorite music and sounds. When I am tired and stressed from work, I just listen to my favorite songs and I feel fine and relaxed as well. I love music a lot and I can live alone with music as my companion. have a good day

A lot of the time, we will just take notice of the music in the song rather than the lyrics. Also, it is often the case that we know all of the lyrics to the songs but we don't really take any notice of what they actually mean. If you stop for a little while and take notice of what you're actually singing, you might find that you're able to take something from the meaning that you have never been able to take from anything else before. Some of the songs that you listen to might have wonderful messages, if only you would take the time to listen.

As much as I despise Courtney Love, one of the best songs for raising spirits that I've heard is "Malibu" by Hole. Some other good ones, IMO: Calling All Angels by Train Mr. Brightside by The Killers Jesus of Suburbia by Green Day Every Town Will Celebrate by Erik Petersen (Mischief Brew)

I have to agree with your thoughts. Music can soothe one's spirit when angry, and it doesn't have to have lyrics to quell his or her anger. For music with words, hymns are a great example. Take the Bob Dufford hymn "Be Not Afraid," for instance. The lyrics almost always lift my spirits up when I feel shaken due to a disaster or when someone yells at me. The refrain is the most lilting part because God wants me to have courage and he will give me rest in an uncomfortable world, hence the lyrics, "Be not afraid/I'll go before you always/Come follow me/And I will give you rest." Soothing.
