This is my second attempt at posting this. I won't be going back to that village, a lot of people here will know what I mean but a few won't. I am talking about a website that I used to frequent. It's just not worth it anymore.
Anyone else stopped visiting a site because it's just not worth it anymore?

I have joined many sites and then decided to unjoin or just quit going to them. I have three on my list now that as soon as I reach my next payout they are history. I have to earn money online and those sites that take a year or do not function right are really not the ones I want to spend my time on. Some of them send me tons of e mails as well and I figure that will thin things out a little. Hope you are enjoying your new job.

I have some contract labor work coming up starting next week and that is a good thing. I have always had the rule that I have to enjoy the site a lot or it has to pay me even when I was working. MyLot will always be special for me.

I've not worried about online earnings since I've found work. I will always come post at mylot when I get a chance though. I know there are sooo many sites out there that are just not worth our time, and when it comes to just trying to get by, you've got to find the sites that will work for you.
I am enjoying my job, it's a great job. I've gotta get ready for work in a few hours myself.

I have stopped frequenting some past sites, for several reasons; If I am applying way too much effort and finding that earnings just are not worth it, I usually leave. Unlike here on myLot where I do spend a great deal of time, I find that although it is not for earnings that keep me here, as I get a great deal of other types of benefits here.
So if a site is going to cause me stress and or aggravation, I would definitely leave it. Simply because all I do online is an escape for me from offline everyday stresses, so it would not make sense to me to continue on a site I was unhappy with. That would not be worth it for me.

Well, I stopped visiting the playpen I used to frequent when I was 10 because it's just not appropriate anymore. Although my ex told me she would rather see in it again since I'm always acting like a kid. LOL

Hello SomeCowgirl,
I don't know what village are you talking about but I couldn't name one site that I stopped visiting because it didn't worth it. I think there must be dozens of sites that fall into this category! Sites that once used to keep me interested and eager to come back are now gone for long. Some are still up and breathing but they don't deserve my precious time any more.
It's so refreshing when you wake up and realize you've been wasting your time on something that doesn't worth it! Too bad that we don't do this more often.

There are several sites I stopped visiting because they weren't worth it. For a while, I didn't visit any sites at all really. Then I rediscovered some and was glad I did because I came back here to myLot as well as to another site I like. I finally sorted through them, though, and figured out that actually there are only the two sites worth bothering with. I popped back onto another one which I had forgotten about only because someone mentioned it in a discussion but when I got there, I think I realised why I had only ever done one thing on there!

Hi SomeCowgirl,
I am in the "few" group by not understanding which site you are talking about but I understand how you feel. I stopped visiting lots and lots of websites like you. I always felt like my time has been wasted, its boring especially quitting a site after 1-2 years, having hundreds or thousands of messages..
