My Windows Defender is defective, a little error messages pops up and says it will be closed down. Fine. Hit the Ok. Go over to the Windows Defender and manually get it running.
Next time I boot up the pc the same little error message pops up, the bar at bottom shows Windows Defenders icon, a little castle with a little triangle with an exclamation point . Here we go again. Sigh!
I go and remove Windows Defender and go the Micro Soft site and install a new Windows Defender. It runs smoothly until next time I boot up my pc.
You have not done a scan it 5 days, so I do a Full scan. In three days time it will say the same thing again. Sigh! So I will do a Full Scan again.
It's routine, manually hit the Windows Defender to get running, do a full Scan every 3 day even though it says no scan has been run in 5 days.
virus nope, everything is running fine except Windows Defender!
Curse You Windows Defender!

I figured that problem out with Win 7, well at least for my computer that is.
I went opened it and updated it. I now get that message now and then, so I go in and update Windows defender itself. Not through Windows Update, through Windows Defender.
It has been running since.

I don't use Window defender on my computer, my daughter has it on hers, and I don't like it, so I don't use it!

How about a rubber mallet would that help? I have a spare LOL.
I notice my little netbook is getting sluggish...that means time for the annual in shop clean out the junk that I can't seem to do manually.
Oh well, I think I can afford 80.00 over a new netbook or laptop.
Found a new toy, a touchscreen tablet. bigger than a smartphone but smaller and more portable than a laptop to take around to paneras and other places.
Think I will maybe have to try it.
Here goes a new learning headache!
K sending the rubber mallet for you.
