What can we do to make poverty history?

Because of people like you, leaders of the world's richest countries met in july 2005 and made a number of historic promises to help end the kind of extreme poverty that is needlessly killing 9.000 people a day in Africa. Millions of lives and the future of a contient are at stake!

First we have to start instilling a purpose in our cultures and make every individual feel as if they are truly a part of this social experiment. that they have a stake in it. If it weren't for greed of the rich we wouldn't have such dire poverty and human suffering. Today I see the world moving in a different direction and I hope it's for the better.
