Green Day: Come and Gone

I remember a few years ago when i was all about Green Day. I would listen to their songs (especially Boulevard of Broken Dreams) over and over and over again. I would learn their songs on guitar and play along with the cd. Now adays, i hear nothing about Green Day anymore. It seems like they are a fad that has come and gone quite quickly. I have also grown out of their music. Songs that were once amazing in my mind, are now mediocre and boring.
What do you think abotu Green Day?? Do you still listen to them?

I think Green Day is a really good band with some good songs. However, I have to agree with you. It seems as they are fading away slowly into the midst on nothing. I like a few of their songs (Boulevard Of Broken Dreams being one that I like). I was never a huge fan of them though. I am more into the harder stuff. Most of Green Day's music is all soft, I like A7X better. They have a few soft songs but they do scream-o. I love Cannibal Corpse, Lamb Of God, and Children Of Bodom. They are more of my style. Sorry I got a bit off topic. Music is my passion and I play guitar as well.
