I have been working for a call center for several years already... I am a filipino and the best tip that I can give you is that you need to think in english... That means when thinking or composing a sentence in your mind... never use your local or your natural language... You should watch lots of american movies to get familiar with different the different accent... Read a loud to soften your tongue, so that your mouth will get used to it... and of course lots of practice... :)

The best way to learn English is to listen to it. If you listen to guests lectures that are usually found on YouTube, it would be helpful. It will also increase our knowledge base and provide you a platform where you can compare your communication skills with experts and learn from them. There is also the vocabulary of a person that provides a good impression when chatting. There is a book called "Word Power Made Easy" which is said to be the epic in English vocabulary building tools. Try and refer to it.
