There are many things that needs to be taken care of before we are asking a raise such as work quality, productivity and so forth. Probably, many don't care about these things, we are just demanding what we want. Thus, frequent misunderstanding between workers and firms occurs because of salary disputes that ended the dismissal and the company was overwhelmed to find new employment. What do you think ?

when the work is prefect and really there is a need to raise the salary then the confidence automatically comes to ask for the raise

Greedy boss will not be able to get good employees as he does'nt give the right salary for the work been done ,the employees will no longer like to be with the greedy boss, the employee will search for another good boss or company where he can get a better salary for the work he does.

There is no place for greedy boss in our heart, they don't have a right to get a respect from employees.

Firing is happened in my company, because some of my friend in the company where I am working now were fired or kicked out of the company. The dismissal was a nightmare and horrible. Don't you think so ?

A pleasant day Sijabatnaburjut,
Once in mylife, I was in that type of situation. That, I need to ask for a salary increment. And I need to do a justification letter why I am doing that request. Since that company does not give an automatic salary increase. So a justification letter is really needed. Aside from that, you must also prove that you are qualified to be given a such increase. Though I was confident then and believe that I have the proper attitude towards my job, I am not that sure if they will grant what I have requested. As the General Manager of the company does not really want to give a high increment to his staff. What I did during those times, was, I asked and lift every bits in prayer. I raised my plea in prayer since the salary increment I was asking during those times was quite material in amount.
To shorten it, with a combination of hard work plus guidance and prayers, I was able to received what I have pleaded for.

I also just tried to pray because it is the only answer that is most appropriate to do. I believe in prayer, then what we asked for will be granted. Of course, you would have been very happy after your prayer is granted. Congrats.

I don't think that I ever had that amount of confidence. When it comes down to it, I think that many people are not. There are a lot of times where businesses, no matter how valuable they say the employees are, do give off the hint that regardless of what happens, you are in fact rather replaceable to say the very least. Rock the boat too much and you could be rocked out the door.
There have been a time or two where I think that my efforts were under valued and rather underappreciated. However, I think that there is a fine line and a right time. When you've proven yourself to be invaluable to a company, where you are needed, that's the time to ask for a raise but many companies only acknowledge that fact under the most extreme circumstances.

Indeed, what you said is right megamatt. I have an experience where some of my friend in the company where I am working right were eventually kicked out or fired, because they demanded a bonus from the company. The company where I work is a company engaged in the field of tourism and has become the general rule that employee has the right to get 10 percent services. I am not willing to prosecute 10 percent from the company, but I'm not sure that I have done the best for the company. And, I thought it was impossible for employe to win of their demand, because the owner of the company had recorded all the good and bad news of each employee and they are going to attack us back. Employee do not realize what they did could a tool to cripple them.

Yeah, I know it is different if you are worked for the government service. The government is based on the period or terms of office to raise salaries of their employees. By the way, are happy with your salary, no need answer? Thank you

I was not confident on asking for a raise. But I always wanted to ask my boss for increment. One time, I really wanted a higher salary. I can't ask them for raise so I just looked for another job with better salary. But when I was going to leave the company, my boss asked me to stay and he doubled my salary.

Me either. I am not confident on asking for salary, and I will never think about it. I just assumed that myself is kinda like materialist if I have to ask for a raise. So, It is far from my mind.
