Fish oil has been proven to be effective in reducing asthma attacks. In addition to it, it increases the level of High Density Lipo-protein (HDL) in the body which is highly beneficial for health. So fish oil but not swallowing live fish is now advocated by all medical professionals. Thus fish oil should be consumed as much as is possible. Do you take fish oil in plenty?

My friend was taking fish oil daily. She said it was really good. She felt very healthy everyday. I read that it is really beneficial to our body and mind. Fish oil has been shown to help support a healthy heart, a healthy brain, a healthy immune system, healthy joint movement, healthy kidneys and much more. i tried to take fish oil for a couple of weeks but it had side effects on me. I had several pimples because of it, so I stopped taking it.

I agree with you in all the benefits you enumerated. That's why it's among the supplements i take everyday. However, my husband stopped taking it when he developed an allergy and accounted it for the fish oil. It gradually disappeared when he withdrew from fish oil supplements.

fish protein is also the best among all aminal protein. its nutritive value is comparatively high because of the favorable essential amino acid pattern. fish proteins are rich in all the esssential amino acids especially methinine and lysine.

Fish Oil Gel - To reduce risk of heart disease
Yes I've read it can help those with asthma. I also know that fish oil ( according to studies) improves blood circulation so it may help reduce the risk for heart disease. Some have been using this to help those with lupus disease and also said to reduce arthritis pain. It has many more health benefits so I and my husband do take fish oil gel regularly.

I am violently allergic to any form of fish oil. I had a cat scan done in which they injected a dye which contains fish oil and I went into an anaphalactic shock. My neck swelled, I broke out in hives, I could not breath and was stuck in a paralyzed position. Thankfully I was in the hospital having the test when this occurred and I was given a counter reactor to stop it. Since then I cannot get consume absolutely any type of seafood.

Though I've heard about the benefits of fish oil through the years, it is not something that I am really all that comfortable with. The reason that I'm really not comfortable with it is because of the fact that alternative medications can have an impact on regular medications that we are taking. I'm lucky to not be on any kind of daily medications, but my husband is on some and for that reason I shy away from alternative medicines.

Hi Doki, @DoctorDidi Yeah, I use fish oil for cooking sometimes but I use vegetables or coconut oil most of the time. How about for patient having heart related problems is it also advisable to take more fish oil everyday? What are example of fish that are rich that could fight against diseases or increases resistance in the body? Are there any other oil which could lower the bad cholesterol in the body. Can you give more example of fish oil good for our health.

Why thank you for sharing this relevant piece of information! Fish oil is very good for you and everyone should have some fish oil in their diets. As a kid, I simply hated fish, I never ate them and my parents would try to force me to eat them but it never worked. I just never liked the smell and taste of fish so I just never ate it even though it was really good for me. Until now I still don't eat fish but I do take fish oil in little capsules. The capsules taste like raspberry so I can't taste the fish taste. I take like two capsules each day as recommended. It improves your brain and your eye sight as well. So fish is pretty good and they're not unhealthy to eat like other fatty meats.

I don't take it but I do use oil instead of butter. I took a lot of it as a kid (daily) and it never made my health (allergies, eczema and asthma) better. If I eat fish it's always fat fish (which is the same as using the oil). I don't believe just using fish oil will cure you. There are way too many thing that trigger asthma, just like other allergies.
